Terms

The simple version of how Bruv and this website work.

Last updated 16 October 2026.

What Bruv is

Bruv is a free tool from It's Done for keeping track of your money, GST, quotes, invoices and jobs. By using it you agree to these terms.

It is general information, not advice

Bruv's GST and tax settings are set up for New Zealand and were last checked in October 2026. They are a help, not advice. We are not accountants or lawyers. Check anything important with IRD or your accountant, and check each invoice, quote and return before you send or file it.

Your data and your backups

Your information is saved on your own phone. You are responsible for keeping backups: Bruv can make a backup file for you. We can't recover data from a lost or reset phone.

Using Bruv properly

Use Bruv lawfully, and only for information you are allowed to keep. Don't try to break, overload or misuse it or this website.

Free, and any paid extras

Bruv's main features are free. If we add paid extras we will say so clearly first. We won't hide a paywall behind something you have already been using for free without telling you plainly.

No promises it will always work

We work hard on Bruv but it is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using it or from it being unavailable. Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app.

The law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
